Mr. Taka Hiraishi, on the Board of Directors and a Senior Consultant at IGES, currently serves as the Co-chair on the IPCC Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories.
In this interview, he gave his account of the award ceremony of 2007 Nobel Peace Prize which he had attended as a representative of the IPCC experts, and expressed his thoughts
on the environment and development.
