| ISAP2016 - International Forum for Sustainable Asia and the Pacific |
IGES will organise ISAP2016 on 12-13 July 2016 in Yokohama, Japan under the theme of "Translating Knowledge into Actions towards 2030 and beyond."
ISAP2016 will invite global experts and leading representatives to co-design and co-produce solutions to mobilise joint efforts for sustainability by 2030. At this forum, participants from national and local governments, business, academia, and civil society organisations are expected to deliberate on concrete actions towards 2030. |

| IGES Boosts Cooperation with ESCAP on Environmental Research, Dialogue |

IGES and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) agreed on 3 April 2016 to synergise their work on environmental research and dialogue in efforts to help countries achieve the UN-led Sustainable Development Goals.
Through this cooperation, they will work together to produce joint research publications, promote knowledge-sharing among their networks, and organise key policy dialogues with governments, development partners and other key stakeholders, including business.
